I'M SO AWFUL AT THIS BLOGGING THING

Ok, so I have been doing a terrible job keeping this blog up. Please forgive me, I am going to try and be better at it. So here are some things that I have noticed lately.

1. The other day i accidently left a pen in my shirt pocket when I washed it. Thankfully it didn't get on any of the clothes in the washer. I am so thanful that i didn't just ruin all of my clothes.
2. Friends. I am so thankful that the Lord has given me such good friends. They love me for me and they are there for me whenever I need them.

I'M SUCH A SLACKER

Ok so I haven't been doing a good job lately with this blog. Josh's parents were in town and then I got sick. So there's my excuse, I know they are lame, whatever. Anydo, I will make a list of things that I can remember from the last 7 days or so.

• God giving someone the insite to put lotion in Kleenex. What a wonderful invention and my nose is so much happier.
• King size beds. We just got a hand-me-down king size bed and it is awesome. It's as big as Texas, ok well maybe not that big, but it's still huge.
• Family. What a wonderful gift that He has given us. People who love you unconditionally and are always there for you.
• Rita Springer. I just got her new album and it is magnificent. She is so talented. God has annointed her and she shares it with the rest of us. I thank God that He has given her this talent and that she is obedient in spreading how wonderful He is. If you have never heard her before get with the program, you are missing out. SORRY THIS SHOULD BE THURSDAY'S POST

Thursday is always a busy day for me. I run the front desk at work and we see patients all day long. I still haven't figured out how to notice things during the stress of my day. I will continue to work on that.

• So today is josh's birthday. I had a lot to do before he got home for work, because I wanted to make everything special. So the little thing that God did for me today was give me enough time to get all the stuff done.
• The big thing that God did for me was allow me to have another wonderful year with the love of my life. God really does give us good gifts!!!!

Today was an ok day. Not much of anything exciting happened.

• Ok so I was about to give this shot, but I was switching out vials first. The old vial wasn't bad I was just getting a fresher one. So I put the old one on the counter and go to get the new one, which is wrapped in bubble wrap since it is glass and is breakable. So as I pick the new one up it falls out of the bubble wrap and hits the floor and explodes into a million tiny pieces. What I am thankful for is that I didn't throw the old one in the trash. Then I would have had to dig in the trash in front of the patient to retrieve the vial out. Thanks Jesus for always being there!!!!

Today? What did I notice today? Today was a hard emotional day for me. I really feel lately that I am not pressed into the Lord. That I am just floating around here with no one to catch me. So this is all that i saw today.

• You know how you can read something (a book or scripture) that you have read before but this time something stands out that you didn't notice? Well that happened to me today and it was good. The Lord told me that he was in control of the crap that is going on in my life. That He is using it to show me that all I have is him and he will make everything else stink until i come to truly believe it. And darn it it's working. I only wish I had learned sooner!!!!

Here is the list for today.

• When I walked outside this morning the air smelled so good. It smelled like rain. I love that smell. It was neat that is smelled like rain because there were not many clouds in the sky so it wasn't going to rain.

The next two are little things that God gave me today to make me laugh.

• I have this reindeer on my desk that POOPS jelly beans. I forget that he is there but today I noticed him and made him poop a little and had a good laugh. I'm actually smiling as I write this!!
• Ok so there is this song that says "hold me closer tiny dancer". I don't know who sings it (I'm sure Becki will let me know). But I heard someone say once that they thought it was "hold me closer Tony Danza". So now everytime I hear the song I think of that line and it makes me laugh

Here is my list for today so far.

• I got to church this morning and it was a little chilly even though it was like 72 degrees outisde. So I was wishing that I had brought a jacket with me. And then Chris walked in and handed me my jacket that I had left at his and Misty's house last weekend. No more chilly!!!
• The next one isn't a little thing but a big, huge thing. Diane announced that she is pregnant!!!! She has been trying for year to have a baby and has had a few miscarriages. I pray that the Lord will allow her to have this child.
